Glacis association against building top floors

The Glacis Estate Tenants' Association says it welcomes the Housing Ministry's presentation on the refurbishment of blocks in the Government Housing Estates to be held on 15th August.
They add: "We take this opportunity to publicly express the opposition of this association against the building of flats on top of the existing housing blocks. _ The Association have to the
Chief Minister and all the other members of parliament this week advising them of our outright opposition echoing the numerous complaints that committee members have received from tenants.__
"Although the 10am scheduled start of the presentation is not the most convenient time for working members of our committee, our association will be represented and our opposition voiced," they say.
