BREAKING NEWS: Explosion in ship off Gibraltar

There was an explosion in a ship at anchor off Gibraltar this morning.
A boiler exploded on the ship HIGH POWER moored off the South Mole.There was no fire, no pollution and there were no casualties, although as a precaution, Gibraltar’s emergency services did respond, said official sources.
Within minutes the ship declared that everything was under control and that no assistance was required.
The ship will now be required to submit a report on the incident to the Gibraltar Maritime Administration.
Eyewitnesses said there was a loud blast and dense black smoke, the smoke later subsiding.
The ship flies the Panama flag.
