Chief Minister meets Russian Ambassador

During his visit to London to attend the Jubilee celebrations, the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Mr Alexander Yakovenko.
During the meeting, detailed discussions took place on possible ways of developing diverse exchanges between Gibraltar and the Russian Federation, as well as other issues of mutual economic and other interests.
The Government says it will continue to explore new avenues to attract investment and business to Gibraltar as part of its policy to create wealth and economic growth.
