Jubilee street party at Moorish Castle

The recently formed Moorish Castle Tenants Association will be holding a Jubilee Street Party on the 4th of June at 8.30 pm. in connection with the Jubilee Celebrations, the association has also organised a five a side tournament and intends to form its own football team, with a view to involving the youth of the Estate in activities. The Moorish Castle Estate at the moment is a hive of activity, painting is going on in the red, white and blue colours and Union Jacks and Gibraltar Flags are going up all over.
The association intends to take this oportunity to make this an exercise of unity for future work which needs to be done on the estate. The association is working very closely with all the pertinent Government Departments, including the Royal Gibraltar Police "and we can honestly say that the feedback and collaboration is to be commended," said spokesperson.
