Opposition deputy Danny Feetham will ask in Parliament this week whether any trainees under the Future Job Strategy have been placed in Civil Service Departments to undertake their training.
Also, why the increase in pay under the Future Jobs Strategy has not been extended to those undertaking the adult nursing diploma; how many workers have lost their jobs in the construction sector since the Government caused the redundancies of over 200 workers earlier on in the year; how many employers have signed contracts under the Future Jobs Strategy agreeing to refund the expenses incurred by the Government in training individuals if they are not employed permanently; whether any special measures are being taken to incentivize employers to permanently employ anyone in sheltered employment under the Future Job Strategy.
He will also ask for the provision of a list of people asked to stand down or sacked from Statutory Boards since the General Election and whether he believes that homosexuals in Gibraltar are being discriminated against and, if so, what does he intend to do about it?
