Isobel Ellul-Hammond, Opposition spokesman for Health and Education, will be asking about the cost of running the newly opened Calpe Ward and what the plans for a made to measure facility for the elderly is.
The Minister for Health will be asked how he will further increase the overall provision for Alzheimer and Dementia patients and what changes will be made to the plans for the new mental health and Alzheimer & Dementia hospitals at the former RNH site.
Other questions are about progress on the Consultants’ contracts, what the new arrangements for hospital meals will be and how their policy on ensuring all GHA doctors are GMC registered will work.
She will also want to know the process by which the announced 47 new teaching posts will be filled and also ask about the new Government ‘schools’ maintenance teams’ policy. Other questions: what additional resources are required in each school for Special Educational Needs? Is the number of classroom aides being increased as part of thei resourcing and support of SEN children?
