Cake stall and hamper raffle success

A group of members from Dolphins Youth Club and the Youth Centre held a “Cake stall and Hamper Raffle” on Saturday at the Piazza. The aim of
this event was to raise funds for club programmes including outings and trips abroad.
Some of the cakes on sale were baked by the youngsters themselves at the youth club the previous evening. Others were donated by their respective families and
friends. In addition to the cake sale, a £400 hamper was also raffled containing groceries, drinks, items donated by the youngsters and gifts largely donated by local
businesses.
They say: A special note of gratitude goes to all those companies who were generous in their assistance and to all those who also contributed in support of the
youth taking part.
The hamper was won by Mr Dalmedo with ticket number 666 and was delivered to the winner on the day.
Dolphins Youth Club and the Youth Centre are always open to new ideas and welcome newcomers to their clubs and programmes.
