Selection of new Commissioner

The Gibraltar Police Authority, questioned by Panorama about the method for selection of a new Commissioner of Police, said this would be undertaken "in exactly the same way as the recruitment was organised when the present Commissioner was appointed, the vacancy has been advertised exclusively within the RGP.
"Should there not be a suitable candidate within the ranks of the RGP, the vacancy would then be open at large."
