• Press Release from the Opposition:
"The vicious attack by the Government in its press release late yesterday is politically designed only to attempt to damage and denigrate Mr Picardo by reference to his profession.
The Opposition will be replying fully, setting our Mr Picardo's position clearly so that the people of Gibraltar can see for themselves that this onslaught is simply Mr Caruana doing what he enjoys most, namely playing the dirtiest sort of gutter politics to try to avoid the issues that reflect so badly on his own legal and political judgment as Chief Minister in the past 15 years.
This is just further evidence of Mr Caruana's desperate attempt to cling onto power and people will see through it."
