|

Photographs as far back as 1933 to date are on display as well as activities, slide shows, crafts and displays are on show as well as how guiding although kept the same goals and principles has changed throughout the years.
Girlguiding Gibraltar has also been part of the local community for the last 75 years and our members have participated in many local activities and fund raising events and play an important role in the local community.
Girlguiding enables young members to develop in an all female environment make a positive contribution to their self-confidence and self-esteem. The all-female environment means that girls and women have to take responsibility for making things happen. Leadership skills and self-reliance can be developed without the added pressure of a mixed-gender setting.
The association is voluntary and is opened to any girl or young woman aged between her 5th and 26th birthday, regardless of faith, race, culture, nationality or any other circumstance.
• If you are aged 18 and would like to give a few hours a week of fun you can also become actively involved. Please contact Laty Edmonds Mob. 54001778 or Valerie Makey Mob. 54012111.
