Gibraltar's migrant laws lead to EU complaint

by PANORAMA reporter A complaint is to be filed with the European Union today against the UK in respect of "the situation of migrant workers from the new member states of the European Union resulting from the transitional regulations brought into effect by the Government of Gibraltar."
This is stated by Alexander E. Broch Fredrik Green, who describes himself as Lawyer Master of Law, and represents Europe Advisers Ltd, with an address in Main Street.
They state: "We are of the opinion that the provisions of the transitional regulations concerning applications for work permits in Gibraltar are in direct violation of Community legislation."
They add that "this violation affects both individuals from these countries who find it difficult to get work in Gibraltar (and therefore have to work outside legal protection) and local businesses which would be penalized for allowing citizens from the new member countries without valid permits to work for them."
The company have organised a press conference for today in order to highlight this issue.
Who's Who behind the complaint
Alexander Broch is also a founder member of Broch Corporate Services LLP (BCS) which is a limited liability partnership incorporated in the United Kingdom.

Alexander Broch is the founder behind the Broch Group TM. He started the Swedish accounting firm Brochs Redovisningsbyr? KB in 1988 (member of the group). He also started the Gibraltar law firm Europe Advisers Ltd in 1998 (member of the group). His personal skills are in accounting and law. He has experience from representing clients in courts both in Sweden, the ECJ (European Court of Justice) and the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights).
