The Three Kings are coming!

Work is already in progress to ensure that the Three Kings cavalcade is another success.
The Three Kings Cavalcade is the first event on Gibraltar’s social calendar after the New Year’s festivities, which is enjoyed by young and adults alike. The organisation for this is naturally carried out months in advance and subsequently the committee is all ready in the process of organising the next cavalcade which will take place on Wednesday 5th January and will set of at 7.30pm from Casemates Square.
The committee says it would like an increase on the numbers which entered last year "although at present we do not have any organisations that have signified their intent to participate this coming year. Indeed we are concerned that although we can rely on a number of “Old Faithful” organisations, the number of participants is dwindling from year to year."
Needless to say, in this respect, the committee is grateful to all those who participate and ultimately without many of these “Old Faithful” organisations the excellent spirit of the cavalcade would not be in evidence.
The Organising Committee therefore urges Clubs, Organisations, Housing Estates, Schools, Companies or even groups of friend to participate and make this another memorable cavalcade, both for those thousands who line Main Street as well as for those who participate.
