A total of 23 anglers took part in this annual competition which was on a Catch & Release Basis, of which 14 anglers were children between the ages of 5 to 16 and the remaining 9 anglers were Wives & Girlfriends.
The weather conditions throughout were not very pleasant with gusty winds and strong currents but notwithstanding this a large variety of fish were caught which included a 1.600 kg Trigger Fish caught by 15year old Christopher Davies.
The trophy presentation was held at Marina Inn in the evening where all participants tucked in to a good food spread and had an enjoyable time. On another point the Committee would like to thank the various sponsors for their contribution’s throughout the years and hope they can support this annual competition next year.
