Ceremonial events

The Royal Gibraltar Regiment will be on parade today for the Ceremony of the Keys which will take place in Casemates Square. The Reviewing Officer will be the Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Adrian Johns.
In a change with recent custom, the parade will begin at 7pm, although spectators are asked to be in place by 6.50pm.
And, as part of the weekend’s Battle of Britain commemorations, Saturday’s Ceremonial Guard Mount will be found by members of RAF Gibraltar and by the Royal Gibraltar Regiment. The Guard Mount ceremony will begin at 12 noon.
BATTLE OF BRITAIN
The following events are taking place to mark the Battle of Britain:
• Thursday 2 Sep:
Arrival of 2 Tornado aircraft - approx 1545 hrs
Arrival of 2 Hawk aircraft - approx 1830 hrs
Ceremony of the Keys at Casemates - 1900 hrs
• Friday 3 Sep:
Flypast of 4 aircraft over Devils Tower Camp - approx 2000 hrs
• Saturday 4 Sep:
Ceremonial Guard Mount at the Convent - 1200 hrs
Flypast over Rooke - 2000 hrs
Sunday 5 Sep:
RAF Battle of Britain Church Service at Kings Chapel - 1030 hrs
• Tuesday 7 Sep:
Gibraltar Squadron's 25th anniversary Sunset Parade at the Tower. Not open to the public.
