It was king-size entertainment once again as the Three Kings led the annual cavalcade along a crowded Main Street. The floats were there, the bands were playing, and everyone was having a great time.

This is an annual event that always draws the crowds, young and old come out to enjoy a glittering display of talent.

The Three Kings paid their respects at the Cathedral of St Mary the Crowned.

There were three winners in the senior section and another three in the junior section.

But every float was a winner. Great work had gone into their preparation and construction.

And this year there was the inclement weather to contend with, enough to put anyone off. But not all those involved in this popular event.

On the day itself there were fears that the rains might come down to spoil the entertainment, but the rains stayed away and the excitement was there for all to see and feel.

Before the great day, the cavalcade committee were saying that the show would go on, as it had never been cancelled by the rains.

And last but not least there was the added attraction this year of Miss Gibraltar, now Miss World, Kaiane Aldorino. A world-class beauty and a world class show.
