What instructions has the Spanish Government given to the Guardia Civil in the bay?

With the incursions by the Guardia Civil currently a red hot topic, the PP's Jose Ignacio Landaluce says that what the Spanish foreign minister Moratinos says and what is happening in the bay are two different things.

As we reported yesterday, a member of the Guardia Civil has come out complaining that virtually every day they get expelled from what he terms 'Spanish waters' around the Rock.

There have been incidents since last March. Landaluce recalls that at one point the Gibraltar government urged the public to inform the authorities if they saw a Spanish ship in those waters. He sees this as an attempt to create tension in the relations.

Following the latest incidents, Landaluce says that they are going to put questions to the Spanish government to establish what are the instructions held by the Guardia Civil to react to situations when they are expelled from the waters of the bay by the Royal Navy or RGP.
