He who engineers our downfall gets welcomed to our Gibraltar

It is a bit of a farce for the Spanish minister who engineered the take-over of our British territorial waters should come to Gibraltar for talks which are meant to be on friendly cooperation. And moreso because his aggressive act against Gibraltar remains as a symbol of real Spanish intentions against the Rock and its people.
Any act that in any way weakens our British/Gibraltarian status has to be resisted, but the way of doing this is not to fudge the issue.
NO MORE TALKS
Unless and until those waters do not return to their status quo ante, that is, to the situation that was there before, there should not be any further talks of the tripartite forum - and the meeting held in Gibraltar yesterday is one too many.
What Sr Moratinos has done and is doing is to weaken the Gibraltar position by any way he can.
It is also his ministry which does not allow our sportsmen from taking part at international level - those sportsmen who take part in those sports is because they have succeeded in achieving international recognition, despite Spanish official opposition.
There are many instances that can be remembered which shows to what extent Sr Moratinos and his ministry act in a manner that is aggressively anti-Gibraltarian.
It is no good our saying that we want good, friendly relations, if the other side is decidedly against us!
Unless we act in a firm manner in defence of our interests we will be run over, sooner rather than later.
NAIVE
And it is naive to think that the Spanish government has forgotten about the Brussels Agreement.
What is happening is that issues are being resolved until such time as there is nothing left but sovereignty. Then, excuses will be found to say that the next inevitable step is the sovereignty of Gibraltar.
In fact, this is foreseen by the Brussels Agreement.
So let us not fall asleep and allow others to take us over - not just our territorial waters, but everything else that we hold dear.
