Off to Miss Tourism International

Krisanne Zapata will compete in Miss Tourism International 2005 to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during the last two weeks of December.
The final night will be held on new year's eve at the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel.
Krisanne, who is 23 years of age, has been working with Mount Productions since she entered Model Search in the year 2000 and was delighted to be given the opportunity to represent her country for the first time in a very beautiful corner of the world.
She will be expected to participate in various sections to include swim wear, evening, national costume and talent, when she will be performing a specially choreographed dance piece.
A team of professionals has been working with Krisanne to ensure that she is at her best during the two weeks there and particularly on the final night and Charlene Figueras who competed in the same contest in 2003 has been in charge of overseeing all the preparations.
'I am absolutely thrilled to be travelling to Malaysia to compete in this prestigious new years eve contest. It really has been a dream come true for me and I am very grateful to Mount Productions who have given me the chance to fulfil my ambition. I have never experienced a competition at this level before and I hope to do the best I can for myself and for Gibraltar', said Krisanne.
