Military RIB hits jetty

At around 8am yesterday morning, a Gibraltar Squadron RIB struck the jetty in Rosia Bay during a military exercise.
The local emergency services and the GSP were quickly on the scene and 6 casualties were taken to the Princess Royal Medical Centre for medical checks. All six have since been discharged and returned to their units.
An investigation into the incident is already under way.
Of the 6 who were checked at PRMC, 4 were from 103 Bn, REME, a TA unit out here on a 2 week exercise. The other 2 were the Gibraltar Squadron crew of the RIB.
