Mr Prescott has been an international adjudicator since 1988 and has judged over a dozen international competitions and festivals of dance.

The championships will be held between the 2nd May to the 8th May and allows the GNDO to see and compare the standards of dance in each country, especially when time comes to travel to Germany for the Olympics of Dance.

Mr Prescott is a founder member of the world governing body International Dance Organisation since 1981 and was awarded the prestigious IDO Golden Award in 2003. ?To be selected as judge for the Russian Championships comes to show the continuous hard work and efforts the GNDO committee and I have made throughout all these years. It is an honour for me to attend the competition as it gives me another opportunity to promote Gibraltar?s high standard at an international level,? added Mr Prescott.
