Death of Dr Reggie Valarino

The Leader of the Liberal Party Dr Joseph Garcia has said that Gibraltar will be saddened by the death of Dr Reggie Valarino, a man who for close on 20 years served as an elected representative of the people of Gibraltar both in Government and in Opposition. This is an important political achievement.
?Reggie was very well liked and very well known both as a politician and as a medical practitioner.
"I had the pleasure to know him in more than one capacity as a friend, a political colleague and a doctor and will always remember and value his relaxed approach to life and his wonderful sense of humour.
"The fact that the Cathedral was full to capacity on Saturday, with standing room only, speaks volumes for the high esteem in which Reggie was held locally.
"On behalf of the Liberal Party I extend my most sincere condolences to his wife and family,? said Dr Garcia.
