|
The chief minister Peter Caruana is one of the speakers at the Commonwealth Business forum which is being held in Malta next week. He will speak in a plenary session, under the theme
'The Commonwealth, Europe and the Mediterranean countries - what are the comparative advantages."
The forum will focus on new opportunities for investment partnerships across Europe and the Mediterranean. About 500 government and business leaders from throughout the Commonwealth will attend this forum.
A brochure for the forum prints a list of 38 speakers, including Mr Caruana, who said in a press release yesterday that he has been invited to attend by the Malta minister of foreign affairs.

The Chief Minister leaves Gibraltar on Sunday and returns to Gibraltar on Wednesday. On his way back to Gibraltar he will stop off in London for meetings with UK officials relating to financial services issues.
He will be accompanied to Malta by his Principal Private Secretary, Denis Hook.
