Gib judge at Danish championships

Michael Prescott, President of the Gibraltar National Dance Organisation and renowned international judge for the world governing body I.D.O. has been selected as judge for the Danish National Dance Championships.

Michael has been selected by the Danish Federation to be a part of the panel and will be travelling to the country at the end of the week.

?I have been an international adjudicator since 1988 and have judged over a dozen international competitions and festivals of dance,? he said.

The championships will be held between 9th to 12th May and allows the GNDO to see and compare the standards of dance in each country, especially when time comes to travel to Germany for the Olympics of Dance.

Michael is a founder member of the world governing body International Dance Organisation since 1981 and was awarded the prestigious IDO Golden Award in 2003. This has allowed him to gain a high reputation as an international judge and be highly respected by all the IDO family from around the globe.

?To be selected as judge for the Danish National Championships comes to show the continuous hard work and efforts the GNDO committee and I have made throughout all these years. It is an honour for me to attend the competition as it gives me another opportunity to promote Gibraltar?s high standard at an international level,? added Mr Prescott.
