Parade of Dogs!

The Gibraltar Society ofr the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) will hold the 2nd Parade of Gibraltar's Dogs to raise funds for their rehoming programme on the 5th of November.

Walkers and Dogs will assemble at Grand Parade at 9.30am for a 10.00am departure and finish at All's Well, Casemates Square.

It will be led by Gibraltar's working dogs from the RAF and HM Customs.

Participants will be asked to pay either ?4 or collect a minimum of ?4 sponsorship. Sponsorship forms are available from both vet clinics. The walk is supported by All's Well.

The GSPCA rehomed 61 dogs and 75 cats in 2004, a total of 136 animals. The charity pays for any immediate medical treatment, microchipping, defleaing and worming of all rehomed animals. In addition, owners can have free neuturing of their new pet and most owners took advantage of this offer last year. The rehoming programme cost about ?6000 in 2004.
