Dear Sir
It is difficult to express the depth of gratitude and sheer sense of pride we feel in acknowledging the high civic honour bestowed on our local Movement by our Parliament, the first under our new Constitution.
All present and former Scouts indeed walk tall.
When so much criticism is leveled at young people to-day, Scouts, in their leaders and members, provide a living example of consistent commitment to selfless service, on behalf of our Community and in furtherance of the brotherhood of nations. -
In thanking our Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition, and all Members of our Parliament, we pledge to continue being deserving of such recognition.
