Scouts holding ?bring-a-friend meetings?

As part of their own Centenary Celebrations the three different Scout Groups in Gibraltar are holding ?Bring-a-Friend Meetings? as from mid March.

"We would like as many youngsters as possible to share with us this great Scouting Adventure of ours and such meetings will give those children who have not had a chance, or have been unsure, of joining us before, to sample the exciting Scout programme without commitment," says Chief Commissioner A.W. Reoch.

The Beavers, Cub Scouts and Scouts will be extending invitations to their friends but others will be more than welcome too.

Beaver Scouts are aged 6-8; Cub Scouts 8 -10?; Scouts 10? -14? and Explorer Scouts 14? - 18.

"As a co-educational Movement we welcome both boys and girls. As an adult you may feel you have something to contribute to Scouting yourself ? come and see us! Different Age Groups (Sections) meet on different nights but you can get in touch with us and we will advise accordingly. Please ring 200 78693 and leave a message ? we?ll get back to you as soon as we can," he adds.

Encourage youngsters to attend the meetings ? let them share the great Scout Adventure and Spirit!
