Krystle in near miss to final eleven

Krystle Robba has returned from Germany after taking part in Queen of the World 2007. The contest took place over a period of two weeks and concluded in Ischgl, Tyrol, Austria where the delegate from Rumania was chosen as the winner.

'Krystle, who was selected as 2nd Runner-up and Miss Friendship at Miss Mediterranean 2006, and as 1st Runner up and Best Physique at International Best Female Model World 2007, is an experienced model that performs well at all levels', said Mark Montovio. 'Only days after settling down she was involved in assisting other models and was chosen to be interviewed on television. I was invited to form part of the international panel of judges selecting the finalists and was able to see clearly the impact she made on the others. She very narrowly missed being part of the final eleven models eventually chosen.'

The contest saw the models competing in swimwear, evening wear and creative wear which had to be inspired by the country's cultural traditions or natural environment.

'The thought of travelling to Ischgl in Austria and Germany was very exciting,' said Krystle. 'After having been to two international competitions I knew roughly what to expect. During the first few days everyone is trying to get to know each other and soon after you make your own group of friends to whom you get more attached than you would expect in such a short period of time. 'The Germany promotion tour was tiring. We had to go out to nightclubs almost every night but still have to make early starts to the day and a lot of travelling where we were expected to always look our best. We visited Munich, Giessen, Frankfurt and also Cologne, where we appeared on the German Television Channel Pro Seven which was great. Ischgl in Austria was a very beautiful resort, but I was expecting a better venue for the final after we had gone to so many places and the contest received such a high profile in the media throughout.

'I felt that even Gibraltar had better places where a contest like this one could be held. I tried my best at the final and made the most out of the limited space we had. My experience at Miss Queen of the World was wonderful and I thank Mount Productions for once again having faith in my abilities and giving me the opportunity to compete internationally.'

'Krystle is always a pleasure to work with because she takes her responsibilities very seriously and always delivers no matter what the circumstances,' added Mark.
