Rockfall on East side

Traffic signs have gone up after a rockfall on the east side, where rockfalls are common.
Part of Sir Herbert Miles Road has been closed to traffic, with a traffic diversion sign in place.
The areas from the 'blind spot' opposite the reclamation, and from the Caleta Hotel to Both Worlds, are prone to rockfalls.
There was much work done on the old water catchment area some time back. s
Some big boulders up that part of the Rock remain a matter of concern, although certain safeguards are in place should any dislodge at some time.
