Movement on MOD and Cammell Laird expected

Movement is expected on the MOD contract issue and also on the Cammell Laird issue.
The TGWU has been stressing that action can be expected, and have made public minutes of a meeting held between the management and the workers committee on the Cammell Laird issue.
"The so-called workers committee is doing a disserve to its fellow workers by being allowed to be manipulated by Management," claimed a TGWU Press release, adding that the union has been 'very patiently awaiting a resolution through dialogue. This has not materialised.
On the MOD contract front, the HQBF have been briefing the unions and the Government, and the time has now come to decide one way or the other.
