Tenders open for facilities at King's Bastion leisure centre

The Kings Bastion leisure centre is expected to open to the public on or around 1 st October.
The facilities are being put out to tender.
The leisure centre comprises a new two-storey building standing within the courtyard of King's Bastion as well as making use of both floors of the bastion itself.
The facilities are in these two floors. The ground floor includes bowling facilities, restaurant, and an amusement arcade.
The top floor includes a two-screen cinema, an ice skat-ing rink and disco.
Tenderers are required to make a financial offer, such as an upfront premium payment and an annual payment, or a combination of both.
The successful tenderer(s) will be required to pay a service charge.
The facilities will be available to successful tenderers for fitting out by June, with fitting out havng to be completed by 1st October.
The level of charges to be paid by the public for the different facilities will require government approval.
