New Gibraltar tourist offices in Madrid

The Gibraltar Tourist Board will be presenting their new offices in Madrid to leading members of the Spanish travel and tourism press today Tuesday.
The new office located at the Torres de Col?n in Plaza de Col?n, the heart of Madrid's retail and business centre, started operating from that address in late May, said a Press release yesterday.
Mr Joe Holliday, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Tourism, will be hosting the event. Also invited will be all those involved with the running of the Gibraltar Tourist Board's operation in Madrid.
"The Government's commitment to our marketing drive in Spain is now greater than ever as the Cordoba Agreement and the enhanced use of Gibraltar Airport will provide direct access to a very large market in Spain for Gibraltar's tourism industry. These new circumstances present both challenges and opportunities for the GTB Office in Madrid, in promoting Gibraltar as a business and leisure destination", he said.
