Climate Change Forum gets cautious welcome from Earth

Friends of the Earth, Gibraltar say that in principle they cautiously welcome the Government's intention to set up a Climate Change Forum. This advisory body will apparently counsel ministers on "appropriate responses to climate change at the global and local levels".
FoE remarked that a lot would obviously depend on the composition, structure and responsibilities of the new Forum.Therefore more detailed comment must wait until these are clearer.
The Group concluded by saying that they looked forward to discussing the matter (among other things) at their next scheduled meeting with Jaime Netto, the Environment Minister.
