Shop broken into - for the 8th time
|
Late on Tuesday night or early on Wednesday morning the Tienda de Antonio shop in Ocean Heights Gallery was broken into.
The thieves forced their way in causing considerable damage to the security shutters and stealing, at the moment, an unknown quantity of alchohol and cigarettes.
Looking at the damage to the shutter it is hard to believe that no one in the vicinity heard anything, especially now that the area is quiet and fenced off to pedestrians and traffic due to the beautification of the area.
The owner, Ishwar Rupani, told PANORAMA that this is now the 8th time he has been broken into and is furious that it has happened again despite increased security at the shop. Police experts were at the premises examining the area for fingerprints and looking for any additional evidence that may give them some leads as to which people were involved. -Neill Rush
