Royal Gibraltar Regiment to hold open day

The Royal Gibraltar Regiment will be holding a public open day at Buffadero Training Centre on Saturday 1st July from 10am till 3pm.
The open day aims to show the public a bit more about what their Regiment does, but the emphasis is on fun; families and children in particular will enjoy the day.
Demonstrations will include:
1030 - The Infantry Platoon
1130 - Machine Gun Race
1230 - Platoon Attack Display
1415 - Band and Corps of Drums Display
Stands include:
Air rifle shooting, fast patrol boats, observation devices, paintballing, night viewing devices, radios, combat medics, vehicle mechanics and many more.
Kids' activities will include a climbing wall, bouncy castle, bungee trampoline and camouflage face painting.
There will be a burger stand, a cake stall and an ice cream van for refreshments.
Entrance to the day is free and open to all.
